How it works

Engineered Stability for
Neurodivergent Founders

The Countersteer framework bridges the gap between digital systems and human support, providing customised workflow applications and targeted workflow execution coaching to keep your business off the wall.

Coming soon — Countersteer is in active development.

The app is not yet at its final standard. Features shown here are being built and refined; screens, workflows, package details and availability may change. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of a final feature set, price, outcome or funding decision.

1.

The Workshop: Daily Execution

  • Workbench

One screen for the day: today's jobs, motivation-mapped tasks, and a 'do this next' card that pulls from your queue when you don't know where to start.

  • Live Job Timer & Tracker

Start the timer straight from the bench. It logs to the minute, feeds your earnings tracker, and rolls into invoices — private to you unless you share the log on the portal.

  • Daily Check-In & Capacity

Log focus capacity and available hours; the app scales your queue so you're not staring down a ten-hour block on a two-hour day.

  • Playbook Toggles & SOPs

Pin your repeatable playbooks to the bench so the next step is one tap away instead of a fifteen-minute search.

  • Copilot

In-app chat agent that captures notes, creates tasks, and searches your workshop when administrative overwhelm hits.

2.

Intake, Workflow & Scheduling

  • Public enquiry & booking link

Share one URL — website, social, email. Submissions auto-create a client (or attach by email) and land in Enquiries.

  • Intake funnel

Every job is assigned to a lane named for the kind of work it is — for example Fabrication, R&D or Fast-Track. Lanes are not fixed; you shape them around how your shop actually works. Ramps are the physical capacity stations where that lane happens, so your workflow and your floor layout stay in sync.

  • Waitlist · Pending · Lanes

Sequence jobs waiting for a ramp, hold jobs that need parts or sign-off, then board them into the right lane so the right work sits at the right station.

  • Milestones & Lane Schedule

Slice long builds into shippable stages. Lock a completion date and the schedule reverse-engineers backwards.

  • Calendar & Services

Drop milestones onto days you're at your best. Baseline services carry preset costs and estimated minutes.

3.

The Pit Wall: Customer Portal

  • Branded portals & tracker links

Each customer gets a personal portal (or a bare tracker link) branded to you — no Countersteer branding bleeding through.

  • Approvals, requests & photo threads

Customers approve quotes, request changes, and see progress photos without you touching your inbox.

  • Live budget tracking

Deposits, milestone invoices and timer logs update the portal in real time so no one's surprised by the total.

  • In-portal comms

Reusable templates and sentence starters keep project chat inside the job — out of your personal messages.

4.

Operations: Finance, Inventory & Admin

  • Survival & Thrive tracker

Set the number that keeps the lights on and the number that means you thrive. Timer logs fill the bars live.

  • Invoices from timer logs

Generate an invoice from tracked minutes or from a completed milestone — PDF-ready, no manual totting.

  • Inventory & Merch

Track parts, one-off buys, reorder points and merch sales next to service work.

  • Triage inbox

Pulls jobs and tasks out of your email so nothing quietly rots at the bottom of the pile.

  • Content Drops

Snap photos and clips as you work; they queue up for later posts instead of dying in your camera roll.

  • Support Agency Ready

Built-in support-worker SOPs and Support Agency telemetry so a support worker or job coach can plug in without a handover doc. Compatible with Access to Work workflows; we do not guarantee AtW approval or funding outcomes.
